Small Town Lurkers Day 4
Wow, day 4 was definitely a day to remember. What a great day. We vowed not to hit the park at all, but after waking up in the jankiest motel, the “downtowner downer”, as we called it, we decided we needed some leisure shred to start the day off. Jordan got this dope blunt nose grab to fakes on perhaps the only obstacle in the skatepark. Long battle for it, worth the reward. The rest of the day followed in a great way. Read on to have your minds blown, but don’t blame us when it happens. Olive skateboards is not responsible for your mind being blown in any way.
beau really enjoyed the banks in this old park. Candid textbook sit-lurk. dude is talented.
This is jamie. Jamie works at ABC family restaurant and is finishing highschool through a correspondance type program. Have you ever heard of the movie ‘the last samurai’? Well jaime is the last samurai, metaphorically speaking, of skateboarders in Creston. He showed us some spots, and then jumped in a photo with Beauzeph. thanks buddy.
After being kicked out of virtually every spot we went to in creston, as well as having someone literally say “scat, get outta here now, you!” before we even started rolling at a spot, we left Creston swiftly and abruptly after getting a few lines and single tricks. To releave the stress, we stopped at this ecclectic flea market placed obnoxiously on the side of the road like a pimple under the bridge of your nose.
Ready to hit the surf…check the beau lurkage in the back.
this was inside that bus you just saw. anything and everything inside of this beast. what’s that you say? you want a chicken liver dicer? Well we got it right here in the cluster-f of madness!
Once he put the bandana on his head, he became a different person. We had to remove it quickly to divert from anything serious happening.
We came back through Cranbrook, and stopped to eat. it POURED for a good ten minutes. We still wanted to head back to the rail with some wood to see what could happen. This was how I hit the rail. One-Two-step and go. Gotta keep the board and feet dry.
Back 50 50 for benny worked, as did a feeble grind…
After a swift butt whooping, I got my act together and got the backsmith. Cranbrook, and day 4–Out. 4 hour barge back to calgs through the night.
Day 5. Last day. Calgary. Gnar filming. Dope. maximum lurkage.
